Both you and baby will appreciate the properties of these natural materials. The leather part of the bootie is soft and flexible, and the sheep wool on the toe is very breathable and helps maintain a steady temperature, so babies will be warm in winter and won't sweat unnecessarily in summer. The sole of the booties is non-slip.

Felt is a material that naturally wrinkles. It is not a defect, nor is it a poor quality material. In this way, dirt is loosened from the surface and the pilling helps to maintain the felt products.
You can use a depiller to remove any lint, but a regular razor blade will also be sufficient to simply shave the lint from the surface.
For heavier soiling, you can clean the felt with a damp cloth and Lanolin detergent dissolved in lukewarm water. Felt products are not suitable for machine or hand washing.
