Our nursing pillow with sheep’s wool will become an indispensable helper from pregnancy to many years after. Apart from nursing, it can also be used as support for your legs or belly. The pillow is very useful during the first moments of breastfeeding, as it provides support for the back and spine of both the mother and child, which is especially important for those of you who have undergone a caesarean section.

As time goes on, you can use it to support the baby’s head and back as it’s learning to sit up. And when the pillow has done its intended job, it can become a cherished friend in the cot :-). The cover is made of 100 % organic cotton and it is filled with the softest Merino wool that has many benefits compared to synthetic fibre. Firstly, wool is antibacterial and hypoallergenic, therefore suitable for delicate baby skin. It also means bacteria and dust mites do not thrive, making it the ideal material for allergy sufferers.

Secondly, wool absorbs moisture which it wicks away from the skin to the surface where it evaporates, so babies will always feel comfortable, even if their little bodies sweat in warmer weather. This basically means that wool controls temperature, keeping your little one warm in winter and cool in summer. And it’s really easy to care for. Regular airing of the pillow is sufficient.

How to care for the product

MAINTENANCE

Try to clean smaller spots on wool clothing with a cloth soaked in water and a product suitable for wool maintenance. If washing is necessary, always follow the label on the product and use the appropriate detergent. If you are unsure, we recommend washing by hand. Some items made of wool are safe to be machine washed using the wool program, but the label on the product must allow this.

MAINTENANCE

Products made from sheep's wool are self-cleaning thanks to their natural lanolin content. Regular shaking and ventilation in the fresh air will support this process. We also recommend storage in a well-ventilated and dry place.

These fluffy items do not belong in the washing machine. If you need to wash them, just hand wash them in a water bath up to 30°C. Do not forget to always use a detergent suitable for wool.
