The strap is velcro too. They fit exactly to the foot. They are soft on the doe foot, they hold the foot well. And the navy shoes are incredibly beautiful. Even after the first wearing, I was already regretting to wear them once I stepped out and consider buying one more pair, albeit in a different colorway, while the eṣ̌te are in stock. The shoes look nice, as in the picture, light on the foot, easy to walk in them, except that on the right foot below the ankle the Velcro strap scratches very unpleasantly.
