We have a cold house - I bought my husband a blanket for the winter and he is very happy. The blanket is comfortable, holds heat well, not overly heavy. The double width makes it easy to snuggle into (when my husband was using a regular width blanket, it happened that he would turn on his side in his sleep and sleep with his back bare). I was worried that it would ride up due to the wool filling, but it fits beautifully.
